Dr. Bernie Siegel has performed experiments on the power of prayer with cancer patients.  He randomly assigned cancer patients to two groups, a prayer and a non-prayer control group.  The patients did not know what group they were in.  Those assigned to the “prayer” group were prayed for, while those assigned to the “no prayer” group were not prayed for.  Remember, the patients were not aware of which group they were in.  Those who were assigned to the “prayer” group significantly outlived those who were in the “no prayer” group.
 
The Maharishi Effect of Transcendental Meditation is another example of how intentions are powerful; of how the inner world effects the outer.  When a group of meditators is large enough, their collective meditation causes “Super Radiance (coherence of energy).  The result is the internal order or cohesive frequency of the meditators orders and organizes the disordered frequencies around it. So, resolution of internal conflict leads to resolution of global conflict.
